    The Position

    Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the WHS Manager will be responsible for coordinating all work health and safety duties across the group. 
    This will include the following:
    • Overall responsibility for the WHS process and training strategy (both external & internal), including policy development
    • As company representative, driving and leading a positive ‘safety-first people culture’
    • Preparation and coordination of WHS training materials and content for on-going training
    • Preparation of timely board and ad-hoc safety reports
    • Managing third-party relationships
    • Periodic monitoring and audit of all WHS systems, whilst continually evaluating through stakeholder feedback
    • Attending operational and toolbox meetings onsite, as required
    The Person

    We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following experience, skills and key attributes:
    • Demonstrated success in a similar role, with experience gained in manufacturing or operations
    • Experience executing tailored WHS training programs
    • Relevant WHS qualifications, including knowledge of current employment laws and practices
    • Excellent planning, communication and adaptive leadership skills
    • Proven reporting, systems and IT skills
    • High-level organisational skills including the ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • A current driver’s license
