The Position:
GenTech Seeds is wishing to appoint a Territory Sales Manager to develop and maintain close commercial relationships with resellers, influencers and canola producers. As a key member of the WA client facing team and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager will focus on:
- Actively promoting, recommending and selling Pioneer products
- Connecting with the farmer network and ensuring all customer activity is correctly tracked
- Working with resellers across the territory to develop, monitor and implement business plans and forecasting reports
- Representing the business and brand at relevant industry functions and field days
- Working closely with management, internal Canola Specialist and the WA team, to ensure that activity is aligned across the group
The Person:
To be considered for this career defining opportunity, candidates will ideally possess the following:
- Demonstrated sales experience within the agricultural industry
- Experience working in territory management
- Sound commercial acumen, with well-developed sales skills
- Excellent relationship management and networking skills
- A positive and proactive team player
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM package)
