The Position
In this newly created position, the Business Support Coordinator is based in their head office in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.
Primarily this role will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations within the business, support the CEO in their activities and implementing policies and liaise with other senior leaders across the business to deliver a broad range of support functions.
You will also:
- Coordinate and schedule board meetings, including preparing and distributing relevant papers and provide secretariat support.
- Be the primary point of contact for administrative requests internally.
- Liaise with external service providers and ensure all office amenities and services are maintained.
- Review business administration systems across the business, with an aim to improve and implement best practice strategies.
- Organise and facilitate various internal events and activities alongside the CEO.
The Person (Requirements)
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Management or equivalent.
- 5+ years working in a similar role providing executive level support.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a strong team-oriented disposition and ability effectively manage time sensitive activities.
- Strategic planning and thinking skillset, with proven experience in coordinating events and travel across multiple time zones.
- Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Exposure to or an understanding of the Agricultural industry would be beneficial.
