The Position
This newly created role is highly influential with the chance to make a significant difference in this rapidly growing agricultural business. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will support and work alongside the farm management team to implement management software, provide financial insights, and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
The position will have a broad scope and directly impact the business's future growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive financial performance and help establish strategic benchmarks
- Collaborate with the farm team to implement management software and maintain accurate financial data
- Support the creation and execution of cost-saving initiatives and GHG reduction strategies
- Develop relationships with investors and landlords to meet growth targets
- Leverage cutting-edge technology to improve farming operations
You are a highly analytical and data-driven agribusiness professional with a proven ability to influence and drive change. With strong project management expertise, including financial planning and budgeting, you thrive in a collaborative, results-focused environment.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 5-6 years’ experience in financial analysis ideally within an agribusiness environment
- Proven ability to influence and drive operational efficiency
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data management and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to foster collaboration
- A strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Analytical and detail minded
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, with post graduate qualifications highly regarded
